What is it ?

A weekend set apart to worship the Lord and seek His face in deeper relationship with Him and with other men. We recognize that men need to step away from the world, the problems and some of their responsibilities so that the Holy Spirit can have their undivided attention.  While not impossible at other times, this is one opportunity to make it happen.

Why should you attend?

• Because as a believer in Jesus Christ you need to interact with other men who love the Lord.  As iron sharpens iron.

• Because as a human male you need refreshment and rest from the toils of your labors.
• Because you need to worship with other brothers ranging from the exuberant to the stoic.
• Because God wants to break down some walls of prejudice that you may be holding whether it be racial, ethnic, denominational or otherwise.
• Because this is a weekend that is bathed in prayer for many weeks before and by the hour while you are there, the Holy Spirit has much more freedom to work in your heart.      

What do we do?

• We have four sessions with our main speaker. Two of these sessions are in a chapel format with the speaker basically preaching and having some interaction with us. The other two sessions are more workshop oriented with the speaker addressing his subject and then directing us into discussion groups around tables.
  
• We eat, we eat well, we eat too much. The conference center takes great care of us |
  
• We worship the Lord our God, the Lord Jesus Christ in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. A worship band takes us through a rousing and touching series of choruses, hymns and special music.
  
• We have free time for sports, contemplation, fellowship, prayer, nap.
  
• We have individual church time for working out our own men's ministry in light of what the Spirit may be revealing to us on the weekend.
  
• We have special surprises in store. Sometimes it's something to take home and sometimes it is someone special to us all.
  
• We have jobs for several men from each church that attends
